My guiding principles when delivering training are as follows:

  1. Care for your participants – While “love” might seem like a strong word, I genuinely care about the people I work with. This doesn’t just involve giving compliments or telling you how nice and clever you are as an audience; it’s about helping you leave the training in a better state than when you arrived. After all, isn’t that what love is all about?
  2. Be authentic – My philosophy is “better be yourself than perfect.” Being true to who you are builds confidence and is fundamental not only to effective training but also to maintaining good mental health and living authentically. In my training sessions, there’s no need for acting or pretending to be someone else. No jargon-filled, BS language. I follow Aristotle’s advice: Think as wise men do, but speak like an ordinary person.
  3. Inspire, don’t just teach – While understanding the subject matter and transferring knowledge are important, I strongly believe it’s even more crucial to convey emotions and passion. As Maya Angelou perfectly put it, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” My goal isn’t just to teach you techniques but to inspire you to embark on a journey of self-improvement through continuous internal transformation.
